Anti-condensation Roof Sheets
Afflicting most buildings and roofing systems, condensation can cause damage to goods held in buildings over prolonged periods, especially during the winter months which is why our Anti-condensation Roof Sheets may be perfect for you. Condensation is where water vapour forms, before cooling and condensing to form water droplets. Condensation occurs when the outdoor temperature is lower than the indoor temperature, due to an increase or decrease in humidity. The likelihood of condensation increases for roofing sheets that are used in agricultural buildings. This is due to the extra humidity that is created by livestock. Condensation can also form on steel roofing sheets, causing rust that can negatively affecting their durability and robustness.
Is condensation causing you problems? Don't worry as we have the solution for you! Eliminate your concerns with our high-performing Anti-condensation Roof Sheets. At Rollaclad, we are extremely proud of our years of positive feedback from providing excellent quality roofing sheets to satisfy our customer’s bespoke needs. At Rollaclad, we used a special fleece membrane that is expertly applied to the bottom of our steel roofing sheets as they are manufactured. This unique membrane contains a large amount of interlaced PES fibres which absorb any condensation that may form along the roofs of buildings. Providing outstanding protection with enormous value, just one metre of our our Anti-condensation Roof Sheets can absorb up to one litre of water.
As soon as the outside temperature falls, our special membrane absorbs any moisture forming along the underside of the roofing sheet, gradually releasing it back into the atmosphere when the temperature increases during the day. Once moisture dissipates, the fibre fleece will dry out and repeat the anti-condensation process if necessary. Over time, this can cause serious leaks that can, in turn, cause damage to the contents of the building below. We can manufacture our anticondensation roofing sheets in all standard colours and finishes, so you can pick the right roofing sheets for your building. However, if fillers are necessary for your uses, then you can fit a ventilated profile filler.
Maintenance
Whilst our Anti-condensation Roof Sheets provide outstanding protection, we always advise our customers to provide care. This enables the fleece membrane to work efficiently and effectively for a long time before their initial installation. It is important to ensure that any ventilation at the ridges and eaves should not be blocked by standard profile fillers. Please ensure there is enough clearance above the building for moisture to adequately dissipate into the atmosphere.
